The Stuntman Cometh
So who are you? Evel Knievel or Super Dave Osborne? Think you have what it takes to be the best stunt driver on your block? What about your city? Your country? How about the world? Well now is your chance to prove your skills. Launching your car hundreds of feet in the air has never been so rewarding (or so cheap on repairs after you land).
It’s time for a Torque showdown between you and the only thing that defies you from your imagination: Gravity. Prove to it that you have what it takes and that you’re the best stuntman in all of Project Torque.
The contest is quite simple. Use your amazing video skills to show off your stunt projects and if your submission is deemed the best of the best get rewarded with AP. ^.^

1) Only one entry per account.
2) Keep all videos at a maximum of 2 minutes.
3) Entries can be submitted to any streaming video site with the exception of Myspace or sites that require registration to view.
4) All video MUST show the Project Torque logo as well as the website somewhere within the video for at least 3 seconds.

7) All entrants must remember to follow the ToS for Torque as well as Aeria. Please do not grief other players in order to obtain footage.
Contest will run for three weeks starting from today (Saturday, April 12th) and ending on Saturday, May 3rd at 9PM PST.
Judging Technicals:
There are a few areas that video will be judged on. These include…
1) Creativity – This involves the stunt or stunts within the video. Has it been done a thousand times before or is it something unique and appealing?
2) Complexity – This is in regards to how complicated the stunt or stunts are to achieve. a 720 backflip with a half twist is going to earn you more points than a splash in a puddle from a two inch drop.
3) Videography – This is the process of how well the video is put together. Is it just a full 2 minutes of the camera stationary behind the car or was there some effort to capture angles to add attraction behind every oil dripping, gas burning second?
Prizes:
1st place – 1000AP
2nd place – 500AP
3rd place – 250AP
Recomendations:
1) Check out the How To Use Fraps thread, but you can use any video recording program you wish to use.
2) To edit your clips, add sound, effects, and combine clips you can use Windows Movie Maker on computers running Windows XP (any version i believe)
3) If you are using gamecam, will use gamecam, or need help with learning how to edit clips you may want to look at this video made by Hawk

It’s probably closer to how to perform stunts poorly because we REALLY DO drive this badly in game, buy hey, we tried lol
