Project Torque – News

Our February patch is doing incredible things to improve the state of the game. Here are just a few features of our latest update:
- Two new test track alternatives
- The new Hangar, Construction, and France maps have been updated to the clients in preparation for over 10 new tracks ready for release.
- New room creation options and changes to improve matchmaking
New track challenges!!
Make your claim at the top spot with our weekly speed challenges. Each week we will be releasing a new track for all players to challenge themselves on. Each new release will provide players an all new challenge where everyone has the same experience in some all new territory so be sure to keep checking in for all new content!

The winner at the end of the week will have their name placed on our website for all to see and will also be awarded a great prize to boot!

This week: Hangar CTF and Versus:

This week’s release is a double feature! The Russian hangar can serve as both a Capture the Flag track and a versus track.

Next week: France Serpentine Touge:

Next week’s release is a special map done at the request of the players. A French Touge will be available to prove just how skilled a racer you really are.

Rankings on the Project Torque website will let our players easily see where they stand. This will also allow our players to see the gigantic number of new maps ready and on the way.

UGS Pro Gaming Tournaments

The Underground Gaming Series has begun. This series is a professional league that tours around the country running competitive gaming tournaments. Project Torque is the featured racing game for this series! The 2008 series has begun so keep an eye out at UGS Pro for a date and location near you!
