Project Torque - New Update Releasing tonight!

Players,

We are going to release the latest update very late tonight/ early tomorrow morning. The server will be coming down from 12:00 AM PDT - 4:00 AM PDT. That is a rough estimate on time it will take. Roughly 1-4 hours.

This build will be considered an ‘open beta’ version and any issues found please report them in the Support Section. GM-1fastCRX will be creating thread for this area. This is ONLY for bugs. Not comments or opinions. All of those will be deleted if in that thread.

What is in this update?

Cars -

RX-7 GT
Hummer 3
Concept Camaro w/ up to level 4 upgrades, additional upgrades to follow soon
4 Drift only cars - No components - Tuning items TBD

New Map -

Python Creek - Offroad only, only available for CTF and Explorer modes -Sim/arcade to be added in coming weeks

Two new Tracks -

Mud Track
Tokyo Track

Game Play
New room controls - more difficult to change cars after ready up
New room voting system - default on, but room owner can disable
Lower lvl players joining race no longer lowering lap limits
New quick shop option in race voting section
Chat enhancements - see for yourself (mianiak need hard hat/ducking smiley here!)
Explorer Mode changes - Random real prize rewards for ‘?’

Chapter 2 Missions - 16 more - need one red key per to open
New Black Skeleton key. Opens or accomplishes missions

One new Task series
One new Challenge series

Numerous bug fixes

New short length T.A. track will come out 1-2 weeks after this release
